Comment from Kan Takase, Representative Director and CEO
We are deeply honored to be selected for the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's SusHi Tech Global Accelerator Program. The optical quantum computers we are developing have the potential to enable calculations previously deemed impossible and lead breakthroughs in various fields such as energy, drug discovery, and materials development. Our goal is not to keep this technology confined to the laboratory, but to implement it in society as infrastructure that supports actual industry and people's lives as soon as possible.
With this selection and the support of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government as a reliable partner, we will further accelerate OptQC’s global expansion. Our entire team is committed to advancing toward commercialization and the practical application of Japan-originated quantum technology.
