Job description
- Designing electrical circuits for optical quantum computer hardware
- Improve and develop electrical circuits designs for optical quantum computers in collaboration with external companies
- The work is expected to carried out in the form of a team of small member
Eligibility
Required Skills and Requirements
- Completed or expected to complete a related major.
- Experience in designing and making electrical circuits. The types of circuits expected are as follows. At the time of application, proficiency in all types are not expected, but the candidates are expected to have capability to learn.
- Analog circuits (MHz band to tens of GHz bands)
- digital circuit
- FPGA
- Knowledge and experience with feedback control and control theory
- Ability to communicate in various situations, such as companies and research institutes
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Knowledge and experimental experience with photonic quantum computers and their peripherals
- Experience in designing electrical circuits related to photoelectric conversion such as optical communication
- Experience in designing circuits for optical experiments (not limited to photonic quantum computers)
- Research and development experience with a small number of people and teams
